Safety of our Students and Staff is a top priority for Hillsboro Junior High School.
.
To help keep our families informed, we are sharing information about our Standard Response Protocol (SRP), the emergency response system we use on our campus and in our District. Hillsboro ISD follows the "I Love U Guys" Foundation Standard Response Protocol, a nationally recognized, research-based approach that provides clear, consistent actions for a variety of emergency situations.
.
By using the same common language and procedures as many schools across the country, we are better prepared to respond quickly and effectively while helping students and staff remain calm and focused.
.
Below you will find information about each of the SRP actions—Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter—so you'll know what each one means and when it may be used. There is one page showing the response protocols and another for Parent Guidance in the case of an emergency.
.
Thank you for partnering with us as we work together to provide a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for every Eagle.
.
In addition to the attached pages, you can find more information on ILoveUGuys.org.
