Our HJHS FCA is hosting a gathering at the flagpole in front of the Junior High at 7:20am.

HJHS Student Council has partnered with Whitney Junior High Student Council to have a Battle for Hill County Peanut Butter Challenge.
We are seeking Peanut Butter donations that will be sent to a local food bank. Hillsboro Junior High is seeking Creamy Peanut Butter and Whitney Junior High is seeking Crunchy Peanut Butter. We are collecting through our football game in Whitney on September 10th. Let's make sure Hillsboro wins the Battle for Hill County Peanut Butter Challenge.
New unopened jars can be brought to the Junior High between now and September 10th or to the game that night.
Mrs. Garza, our principal, has added another incentive where students can pick an administrator to get a Pie in the Face at our pep rally. Students will donate the peanut butter in one of the administrators names to cast their vote.
What a great way to work together between school districts for a worthy cause. Congratulations to our Student Council for bringing this friendly rivalry competition this year.

Hillsboro ISD follows the "I Love U Guys" Foundation Standard Response Protocol, a nationally recognized, research-based approach that provides clear, consistent actions for a variety of emergency situations.

By using the same common language and procedures as many schools across the country, we are better prepared to respond quickly and effectively while helping students and staff remain calm and focused.

Hillsboro ISD is proud to partner with Chartwells Dining to provide free breakfast and lunch this summer for all children 18 and under and individuals with disabilities up to age 21. Meals will be served at Hillsboro Junior High School from Monday, June 1, - Tuesday, June 30 (closed June 19th).
📍 Location: Hillsboro Junior High School, 210 E. Walnut St.
📅 Dates: June 1–30, Monday through Friday (closed June 19)
🍽 Breakfast: 7:30–8:30 a.m.
🍽 Lunch: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
🥪 Children must be present to receive a meal.
